Evergreen Entertainment strikes deals for “Little Krishna” in Asia and Russia 04 / 03 / 10

Following its award for Best Animation at the Asian TV Awards ‘Little Krishna’ has been sold in Indonesia, Sri Lanka and to Russia and the fifteen countries that make up the CIS.

Steve Walsh, Managing Director of Krishna’s worldwide sales agent, Evergreen Entertainment, said: ‘We expected that it would do well in Asian territories but the Russian deal has fulfilled our hopes that buyers around the world would see it as the international success it really has the potential to be’.

Little Krishna can be enjoyed by all cultures, and with Total Content and Spectrum film having together bought the rights to 24 different languages it is about to become a truly global series.

Little Krishna is based on the childhood adventures of India’s most celebrated hero but the real strength of the show lies in its universal values, its high quality animation and its gripping adventure plots.

Spectrum Film has bought the rights to both the series and the movies for Indonesia and Sri Lanka, while Moscow-based Total Content acquired all rights in Russia and the CIS.
